Rosi Sexton fights tonight

“Here’s hoping”

Friend, training partner and Fighters Only contributor Rosi Sexton fights tonight in the States.  Her pre-fight interview has just gone up on YouTube, thanks to the hard working dudes at Pro Elite.

It’s no secret Rosi is a pretty special human being, but she’s got her hands full going up against Debi Purcell.  Purcell may be older and less experienced in the ring, but she is cutting a lot of weight to make 130lb whereas Rosi is going up from her usual fighting weight of 125lb.

It’s definitely going to be a tough fight and I’ll admit, I’m bloody nervous about it.  Regardless of how good Rosi has looked in the gym, anything can happen in a fight, and I just hope that everything goes well for her.  She’s fighting in a couple of hours so until then, all we can do is wait and cross out fingers.
