How to take photographs of fighters

There are a few easy rules worth remembering if you’re going to take photos of fighters. They are as follows:
- Be as quick as you can. The longer they stand there, the more irritated they are likely to become. No point pissing someone off if you can help it.
- Avoid the ‘fight pose’ at all costs. Everyone knows they are a fighter, they don’t need to see them with their hands up in every single photo.
- Talk to them. Fighters are people too.
- Be polite. Don’t be over-familiar if you’ve only met a few times.
- Say thank you and how much you appreciate their time.

People love anecdotes…
“I remember the time James Thompson had a bogey up his nose for ages” that kind of thing…

ah I see what you mean. Well to answer that, I have loads of juicy stuff, but it’s definitely NOT for public discussion
